**National Drug Take Back Day Scheduled in Yates County**
Yates County, NY – October 26, 2024, marks National Drug Take Back Day, a day designated for the safe disposal of unwanted or unused medications. Residents are encouraged to drop off their medications at the rear of the Yates County Courthouse, located at 415 Liberty St. in Penn Yan, NY. The drop-off hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For those unable to participate in the take-back day, additional drug drop-off locations are available throughout Yates County. More information can be found on the Yates County Public Health website at https://ow.ly/eeLj50TCfho.
This initiative aims to promote safe medication disposal to prevent misuse and protect the community.
