Library Construction Update: Renovations Nearly Complete

The Watkins Glen Public Library in Watkins Glen has provided an update on its construction progress. Director Kelly Povero reported that over the past two weeks, there has been significant activity involving re-organizing, cleaning, and weeding in the library. Povero mentioned sharing her office space with Captain James Hope and the majority of the toys from the children’s room during this time.
A sneak peek of the renovations indicates changes being made, especially in the children’s area. The library is set to re-open to the public on Tuesday. While the library prepares to finish up work in the children’s room and restore order, they appreciate the community's patience.
