Inaugural Short Film Festival Opens in Geneva

The Dore Block Project is set to host its inaugural short film festival this Sunday in Geneva, New York. A total of 2,429 films were submitted, with only 28 being selected for the festival after over 120 hours of viewing and reviewing.
The festival will feature one screening for board members in a theater that is expected to be filled to capacity. Organizers express gratitude to all filmmakers for their submissions, regardless of whether their films were chosen.
The event aims to engage viewers emotionally by addressing tender subjects and eliciting a range of reactions, from laughter to tears.
The Dove Block Project is dedicated to providing accessible arts programming to the community and raising awareness of Arthur Dove, a significant figure in modern art.
