Auburn YMCA Chess Tournament on October 14!

The Auburn YMCA in Auburn, New York, will host a chess tournament on October 14, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM. The event is open to participants aged 10 and older, and non-members are welcome to join.
The tournament will feature a 5-minute clock format, and players will be divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. A winner is determined by achieving checkmate against the opponent. If time expires, the player with the most pieces remaining on the board will be declared the winner. In some cases, games may end in a stalemate, resulting in a draw.
