West Street Field Day Held After Weather Postponements

Geneva City Schools said West Street School Field Day took place after two weather-related postponements.

Students spent the day moving through a range of activities, including racing and water challenges, as well as parachute games, balancing, kicking, tossing, and other friendly competitions with classmates.

In a post about the event, the district said Field Day gave students a chance to celebrate teamwork, perseverance, friendship, and memories from throughout the school year. The district also thanked people who helped make the day possible and those who stayed flexible through schedule changes.

The district said a pair of soon-to-be retirees brought extra smiles during the festivities while wearing matching “I’m Done: Class of 2026” shirts.
