The Geneva Public Library in Geneva, NY, will host a special event on Tuesday, May 13, at 5:30 pm. Award-winning journalist Nancy E. Lynch will present "The REAL Women, Veterans of Vietnam," an event inspired by Kristin Hannah's novel "The Women." Lynch will share firsthand accounts gathered from nearly 1,000 war letters she received during her time as a newspaper columnist. The event will include readings from these letters, which include stories from nurses, Red Cross workers, and other women who served in Vietnam. The accounts are compiled in her award-winning book, "Vietnam Mailbag: Voices from the War, 1968-1972."
