Geneva Hosts 55th Annual MLK March and Service

On Monday, January 19, 2026, the City of Geneva will host the 55th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March and Memorial Service. The event begins at 9:30 A.M. with participants gathering at Bicentennial Park on Exchange Street in Geneva.

At 9:45 A.M., welcome remarks will be given before the group starts the annual memorial march at 10:00 A.M. The march will proceed to St. John’s Chapel at Hobart and William Smith.

The service at St. John’s Chapel is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. and will include a worship session, music performed by the MLK Memorial Choir, and the announcement of the 2026 MLK Art & Poetry Contest winners. Thomas Warfield, MFA, the Director of Dance at Rochester Institute of Technology, will deliver the keynote address.
