In Geneva, NY, community members are coming together to honor Fred Brockway with a memorial bench. Fred, known for his volunteer work with local organizations including The Boys and Girls Club, the Smith Opera House, Hospice, and the community garden, created the Community Butterfly Garden at the corner of Lakefront Drive and Castle Street.

His nephew, Dave Brockway, is organizing the fundraising efforts through a GoFundMe campaign. The project aims to purchase a bench for Fred in recognition of his contributions to the community. The current goal is $2,564. Donations and shares of the campaign are being encouraged by family and friends to help memorialize Fred's legacy.
