Rising sophomores from Geneva City Schools in Geneva, NY, experienced college life and future career opportunities during two events at Cornell University and Cornell AgriTech.

During the Cornell University Early College High School Program visit, students participated in interactive sessions at the Spacecraft Planetary Image Facility and the Cornell NanoScale Science and Technology Facility. They explored aspects of technology, health care, humanities, and agriculture while observing cutting-edge research and learning about higher education.

On July 24, students visited Cornell AgriTech for an Early College Program Day. The agenda included discussions with Cornell faculty and graduate students, lab tours in food science, and sensory analysis sessions. The event focused on how science, innovation, and agriculture work together to ensure a resilient food supply.

Both experiences were made possible through a partnership that includes Cornell University, Cornell AgriTech, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and dedicated educators.
